Week – Finale – June 7, 2019

This time, the message was: it is done. The Birdie program is done in its current form. It is capped at forty weeks. There was simply a last message (below). There will be no more weeks, but possibly reminders or little messages in the future.

The reason is that the primary purpose (and there might have been more than one) has been fulfilled. I personally don’t actually know what those were (though I have my thoughts about it), I only get that it is done. It feels done too.

What we have is a very powerful series of investigations and practices. I am to update the website, for example giving titles to the week in the links and organize it a little better, and close the facebook groups.

For anyone participating, thank you.

Now it is time for your full self responsibility – creating your life and practices, envision and step into your very self which already exists in the future.

You get to decide which habits to maintain, and which to no longer do but replace with others.

You get to make learning and growing a way of life for you, if that is what you wish to do.

You get to live with intention on energy flow and creativity and presence, or continue to mostly give in to reactivity, being stuck and unconsciousness.

You choose what to align with in your life.

You can have big dreams and not fuss over the little “problems” of daily live.

You choose what support group you want to create or join and to which extent you are able or willing at a given time to participate.

You get to choose a way to contribute and serve for the benefit and evolution of life on this planet and the beings living on it.

You can come back to the Birdie exercises of the various weeks for as long as the website is up.

It has been a privilege to serve in this way and I am very grateful to Carmen for translating. Gracias and vielen vielen Dank!!!

Thank you everyone who chose to be part of this for any of the weeks. It was important and meant a lot.

There is a special exercise I would like to share, from an old LRS course book, it goes something like this:

Looking around, imagine every single object you see as being an entire universe in itself. Who (or what) are you then?

For the benefit of all beings everywhere and the benefit of the Absolute.

This time, I was waiting for what seemed like a long time and started thinking that maybe nothing will come, maybe it is done with the Birdie Program.

But then suddenly there it was:

Plant a flower

Not just a plant, a flowering plant.

Plant it in a pot or outside and care for it.

Sit with it – every day. Get to know it, give it your energy, good thoughts, feelings, admiration or curiosity.

Using your hands, actually imagine healing, loving or simply extra energy surrounding it and embracing it.

Ask it what it needs and listen to what is tells you. Ask it anything you like. Notice the responses.

What happens with you during those times? Notice any resistance you might have or beliefs that come up.

As with many practices or investigations, this one does not have to stop after one week.

However, since we are dealing with another living entity, the caring for it will continue, at least enough for it to continue to live.

This is a voluntary action on your part, but one that does come with ongoing responsibility. So if you can’t or don’t want to care for it afterward, even if it means finding it another person to care for it, then it is better to skip this week.

Surrender

This week, investigate surrender

Imagine being told: surrender.

What comes up for you?

What is it that needs to be surrendered?

Who do you surrender to?

It could be that a
self-image or belief needs to be surrendered?
Your reaction or response could range from vehement resistance (no way!) and fear to a very deep longing.

What comes up also may depend on the circumstance.

What is the difference for you in surrendering, giving up, and letting go?

Helping someone

Once this week, or once a day or as many times as you want, help someone.

Help not because it is an obligation or part of your work, not because it is your default habit in life, not because you will look good or you want or know you will get something, anything, in return,. No, just do something that you know is helpful to and appreciated by another. Give of your time and energy as a gift. You’ll recognize the moment.

Two tasks

1 – What am I feeling?

Take time every day this week, as many times as you want or need, sit in a safe or sacred space and ask yourself

What am I feeling?

Notice if what is going on is having a thought, or sensation.

When you feel what you feel, ask again, what am I feeling?

Keep going. Go all the way

2 – Take time this week – for your self

At least once this week, take time just to lay down and sense or feel, time for restoration, for healing, much like during the distance energy healing. Take time for yourself to relax, not having to fulfill an obligation, work or having to do some task or another, time not to do anything. Time to be with yourself. You can invite higher energy beings, work with intention if you so chose, do some hands on self healing

Review

Time again to look at what is happening.

If you remember, what changes did you make in your life since we started at week one?

Are there any new helpful routines in place? What changes, if any, did you make in your external environment? What are you noticing about yourself and your way of being, insights or understanding of self and life in general.

What intention do you hold for yourself?

Write about all this in your journal.

Grounding

Again, this sounds familiar.

We live in and as these physical bodies, and one way to align, strengthen and balance the physical energies is to get in touch with the earth, literally the dirt, the ground. Bare feet on the ground, bare skin touching the earth. Research on that method and effect of grounding (also called earthing) and spend 20 minutes each day this week touching the earth with bare skin.

Grounding in our bodies

Accepting physicality, sensuality, movement, feeling and being aware of all there is to feel and sense.

Connect your center to the molten core of the earth.

What does your soul ground in?

What ground do you stand on? What ground do you live in?

Another ground is the one of space and awareness, of stillness and presence.

We need both kinds of grounding.

Ground down – become connected to the earth and to the stillness and space, the eternal.

Boundaries

This sounds familiar, didn’t we do this before?

Still, boundaries it is.

In backdrop of one-ness, of being part of the ONE connected cohesive field of manifested reality, there are these apparently separate entities, boundaried with skin or fur or bark and their surrounding energy system.

As far as we, as persons, are concerned, there are the practices and tool for waking up, and the tools for growing up.

The tools and skills to know about boundaries, be responsible for your boundaries and respecting the boundaries of others, knowing about healthy and unhealthy boundaries, are part of your growing up process.

This week, notice your physical and energetic boundary. Notice and pay attention when someone or something else penetrates that boundary. This crossing of a boundary could be with your agreement, or against your wish and will. A simple example would be that you cut yourself and the boundary of your skin gets injured. You and your body will need to deal with that. What are helpful tools for the healing that needs to occur?

Sometimes it might be in a store and some stands close to you but it feels really unpleasant and somehow violating. Notice that and what you need to do to change the situation. What do you do to cleanse and clear? Not everyone can go from a swim in the ocean, but a shower might be an option, for example.

Sometimes energetic boundary violations are more difficult to deal with that obvious physical ones. You can’t quite explain it. Pay attention to it – don’t discount your experience. Sometimes it might be hypersensitivity, resulting from a prior nervous system trauma. Sometimes it simply means, there is energetic intrusion happening. And you might need an energetic counter-measure – or a discussion.

Also notice how, being consciously and energetically connected to the world, sometimes you simply are affected by what is happening to others and in the world. There really seems to be no other way than to feel it and allow it to pass through, not holding on to the energy in any way, not letting it get stuck in you.

Notice how it feels being with others, notice if your boundaries are rigid, flexible, soft, porous, permeable, fluid, brittle, spiky.

Emptiness

Imagine just being.

Would it be okay with you to just be, not a goal to pursue, no ambition, doing nothing,

or do you feel the need to perform, accomplish, be successful in the eyes of society or family, friends and peers?

Is simply Being – success enough?

Yes, bills probably need to get paid.

From which place do you act, create and play?

Being in the empty space of fullness – is that enough? Or does that leave the ego in defense, wanting something or afraid of something or other?

The space of being here, a space of being enough, nothing to do but being is that enough or does a voice in you start speaking up saying: don’t be lazy, you have to do something useful?

Being in the emptiness out of which everything arises.

Being that emptiness

What if there is the simple happiness of just being?

Listen

This week, listen.

Maybe it is simply listening to your friends and others you meet, rather than speaking and sharing or wanting to be heard.

Maybe, it is listening to your body. What is it telling you?

Most of all, listen to the silence between the sounds you hear. Listen to the silence between the thoughts that are happening.

The wind, the trees, the birds, the ocean, the music, some noise – whichever sounds occur – listen to the space in which they occur.

Just listen.
